South Holderness student finalist in Education Art Prize
Year 11 student Jessica Delph’s artwork was shortlisted as a finalist for this year’s Education Art Prize competition beating off around 500 entries from schools all over the UK and Ireland.
Jessica was invited to the Finalist’s Workshop in Birmingham where she was competing against 9 other students and was judged throughout the day by artist Jenny Muncaster, whose work was used as the initial inspiration for Jess' work.
Unfortunately Jessica did not win but the workshop day was a valuable, once in a lifetime experience that will not be forgotten. To make it to the final says a great deal about the quality of Jessica's entry.
