GCSE Results 2012 - Press Release

At South Holderness Technology College, 86% of the Year 11 students achieved 5 A*-C grades overall and 51% achieved 5 A*-C grades including English and Maths.

The overall points score per student was 424 and the capped average points score was 326 (the same figure as 2011).
There were many individual successes including 25 students who achieved at least 6 A*/A grades and 3 students who achieved 10 A*/A grades.

Headteacher Martin Cooper said: “We are very pleased with the overall pass rate at GCSE and some subjects have performed exceptionally well.  We are concerned at a drop in English results this year and will be investigating this.”
