At South Holderness we have a recycled paper bin in every classroom.
Water
We collect rain water from the roof into water butts in the QUAD.
Old mobile phones and printer cartridges
These are collected and sent to the charity 'Seeds for Africa'. The money collected from the recycling of these items provides seeds and fruit trees in countries like Uganda.

Plastics
We have a granulator in the Design Technology department so that old plastic bottles and cartons can be recycled into materials for use in lessons.
Compost
Compost bins in the QUAD are being used to compost green waste from staffrooms, food technology lessons and dining rooms.
